Monday is almost 80% higher than DOS' first monday gross. I'm just dreading the Friday, apparently 4 new wide releases open that day, taking away precious screens (DOS faced only one new opener). I hope BOFA can weather the storm.

The top number gives the total for foreign gross. They don't get the individual country updates done weekly. But their latest figures are in the total foreign gross which is up to date as of the 25th.

That number is the correct up to date number

They don't update the individual country numbers week by week. I have noticed this is standard practice for all movies on box office mojo. The total number is the correct number.

On Saturday it'll lose even more screens.

Since another movie opens on Saturday. BOFA is expected to drop around 65% this weekend.

It is what it is. Then the following week the Hunger Games flick opens which should siphon more off.

As I've just posted over on Off Topic, RA joined Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, a couple of days ago and, in that time has collected 75,000 followers. He was trending yesterday and was the #7 hot topic. After his trip to Beijing with PJ when he did loads of interviews, he is doing his best to promote the film with a bit of humour and charm on Weibo which appears to be going down well with the Chinese. He has just posted to thank them for the great box office which he claims now stands at $77m - outstripping the total run of DoS. He says, in both English and Chinese: "Thanks China for that Brilliant Bursting Box Office." I hope there's something in it for him because he's certainly bursting a gut for WB. And just for the record, so far as I can tell, that figure that he tweeted for the current box office figure is correct.

Saturday estimate is quite good. 50 million yuan. And Friday actual was higher than the estimate. 33 million.
