..if they haven't been on the interview circuit? I doubt if any journalist would bother to go to their homes to ask them.

Come to that, I can't recall Ian Holm saying anything about Lord of the Rings either.

I could tell Dain was CG just by watching his mouth move when he talked - looked unnatural.


Thank You! That always seems to be the tell tale sign of CGI human type characters. for some reason it didn't come across with gollum and azog which led me to wonder if Dain was even motion captured at all. When he says to Thorin, "I hope you have a plan" it's almost clear as day that his mouth is CGI. It looks like a lot of the CGI characters that I've seen in the past who weren't motion captured. There's always somehting "off" about their mouths.
