My mom passed away in March, which is a big impact, even when you don't necessarily get along that well. And she was so ready to go that it was a relief when it finally happened.
I've been having some health issues myself the last few years, but we've finally found a medication that seems to be solving the worst of the discomfort, so that's a good thing.
