That Thranduil and Tauriel were lovers [In reply to] Can't Post

Completely absurd of course, and I think most people just said it as a joke, but it's my favorite because it was the first crazy rumor I saw upon becoming a member of TORn.Smile

"I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

But in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth, I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

Then rang the bells more loud and deep,
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men."

Bombur was a female...hence his/her silence. [In reply to] Can't Post

Not taking into account the EE of AUJ or anything, I just found this hilarious!!

Call me Rem, and remember, not all who ramble are lost...Uh...where was I?
