Naming Dain's War Boar Can't Post

Does anyone feel the need to name Dain's War Boar now like I do? We already have Bubba the War Elk, so I think the Boar needs a name too.

Personally, I like the name "Boris." Boris the War Boar.Laugh Thoughts? Any other names you'd like to suggest? Any other animals in the movie you'd like to name?

"The skies don't seem to be as dark as usual
The stars seem brighter than they've been before
And deep within I feel my soul is stirring
As though my hope has been restored.

The shepherds say they've heard the voice of angels
Confirming rumors spread across the land
That a child protected well from Herod's anger
Is our Father's Son and the Son of Man.

Love is raining down on the world tonight
There's a presence here I can tell
God is in us, God is for us, God is with us, Emanuel."

Now this is interesting. [In reply to] Can't Post

Your question got me curious, so I looked up the translation for "boar" in Scottish Gaelic. Get this - the word for pig is "orc" and a boar is "torc" (First and Second Agers ought to enjoy that). Also, several Scottish clans use a boar as part of their coat of arms. I'm sorry to report that despite having read various very interesting things about boars in Scottish legend (including the famous "Diarmuid the Boar", founder of Clan Campbell), my brain has presented me with "TORCy the pig" and it's going to be hard to get rid of that.

I think the sled rabbit which fell on its back from exhaustion should be known as "Flopsy".

....you probably want me to stop now. Tongue

Good one!Wink

"I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

But in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth, I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

Then rang the bells more loud and deep,
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men."

Very interesting! [In reply to] Can't Post

I love the Gaelic language, so it's always interesting to me to find out about the translations of words. I didn't know there were boars named in Scottish legend either. Fascinating!
