Wrap up warmly and sit on the daybed with a cup of hot tea and a good book.

I don't even want to get up & get on the computer. I might do a crossword puzzle. Maybe watch a movie. But mostly I like to set myself up so I can drift in and out of sleep.

that's awful! What was the poison? That's pretty much how I do illness- sitting on my bed with two pillows behind my back, alternating between nodding off and being on the computer (no cable, and my tv is nowhere near big enough for TH and LOTR (can't see details) even if it's ok for other movies

Fortunately I don't get sick often, but when I do it's always something like a cold or the flu. And it makes me tired and lightheaded, which makes the things I usually enjoy doing (listening to music, watching films, playing video games, reading, etc.) much less enjoyable. So sleeping it off is really the only option.
