Why is Bilbo so little - LOL guess the artist REALLY likes Azog.

The armor will get ditched and I am OK with that - re plate armor being too cumbersome to move fast and at least Thorin, Fili, Kili and I think Dwalin would prefer to fight without it.
If I were going to be overrun anyway, I wouldn't bother, I'd just try to take down as many as I can. And re my reading seems like it was a Viking thing (in that Tolkien based the dwarves on such traditions) that that was how MEN die, you need to die in battle and would even pick a fight if need be.
But thank you for posting , I had not seen this before, and a few spoilery things are never the same as seeing a film in all its glory on the big screen!

Only because Dain's Lego was depicted in a helmet with a crest - but no matter, is one of the few dwarf images I have seen that show a dwarf riding - something. Good eyes tho!!!
And if Thorin is really going to charge out head-on like that - SO EPIC.
I love that raven sword.
And Thranduil looks cool and badass.

With the wee Smaug on top....tho Amazon.de says not available until Dec. 10.
