My Saruman? [In reply to] Can't Post

I always envision Frank Langella as Saruman. He played Dracula, as well ;) He's best known for his work as the antagonist in the movie "DAVE" with Kevin Klein. He has a great voice and a great presence... just like Christopher Lee, imho.

However, I do accept and enjoy Lee's Saruman only because I know about his long-life love of Tolkien's work and his passion for it :) In that case, I'm content with his portrayal.

Frank Langella's Dracula [In reply to] Can't Post
was awesome. I think he did it on Broadway for sometime prior to the movie being made with Sr Laurence Olivier. I would have enjoyed his performance as well and his voice / screen presence is awesome.
