What will be TBOFA 'Signature Song'?

Every one of the individual films have had one, what I call, signature song.. "Into The West" for Return of the King, "Gollums Song" on the 'Two Towers' SO what will it be for The Battle of the Five Armies? Any word on who's singing, composing, etc? I've loved everyone so far.

I'm expecting some variant of Bilbo's poem (and later song), possibly sung by Sting.

It is too perfect not to use. Roads go ever ever on, Over rock and under tree, By caves where never sun has shone, By streams that never find the sea; Over snow by winter sown, And through the merry flowers of June, Over grass and over stone, And under mountains in the moon. Roads go ever ever on Under cloud and under star, Yet feet that wandering have gone Turn at last to home afar. Eyes that fire and sword have seen And horror in the halls of stone Look at last on meadows green And trees and hills they long have known.

Good song.
****************************************** Suddenly the king cried to Snowmane and the horse sprang away. Behind him his banner blew in the wind, white horse upon a field of green, but he outpaced it. After him thundered the knights of his house, but he was ever before them. Éomer rode there, the white horsetail on his helm floating in his speed, and the front of the first éored roared like a breaker foaming to the shore, but Théoden could not be overtaken. Fey he seemed, or the battle-fury of his fathers ran like new fire in his veins, and he was borne up on Snowmane like a god of old, even as Oromë the Great in the battle of the Valar when the world was young. His golden shield was uncovered, and lo! it shone like an image of the Sun, and the grass flamed into green about the white feet of his steed. For morning came, morning and a wind from the sea; and the darkness was removed, and the hosts of Mordor wailed, and terror took them, and they fled, and died, and the hoofs of wrath rode over them. And then all the host of Rohan burst into song, and they sang as they slew, for the joy of battle was on them, and the sound of their singing that was fair and terrible came even to the City: There's a Great Darkness over the Pelennor, There's a Great Darkness over the Pelennor! Our spears’ nowhere as high as an Oliphaunt’s eye, And the field’s full of orcs, wargs and huge Olog-hai! Oh what a Rohirrim morning, Oh what a Rohirrim day! We've got a wonderful feeling, We shall kill thousands today! Oh, we’ll kill us some Easterling Variags, And know we’re not given to idle brags, We’ll battle and vanquish the Black Serpent King, And even an undying dwimmerlaik thing! Oh what a Rohirrim morning, Oh what a Rohirrim day! We've got a wonderful feeling, We shall kill thousands today! -Rodgers and Hammerstein, The Lord of the Rings

"The Road Goes Ever On" is my favorite. It just fits perfectly in between the two trilogies. With a good voice and a melody similar to that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR9Xv4-AFRM I would be very happy. #Road4Hobbit

Oh my God is that beautiful and fitting. Add a voice singing the poen transferred to good lyrics and I would take that immediately for Bot5A.

A nice "midpoint" song linking the two trilogies, and it's the song we first hear Gandalf singing. I wouldn't mind a version like this from the LOTR musical (one of my favorites from it!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gC4dcu_CvA But I also love the song "Wonder" from the musical as well, has a beauty and sadness to it, which would also fit perfectly for the end of the Middle-earth saga: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mX45a1wMmN8 Now I know they can't use it, but something along the lines of this, would really fit the mood!

She's a kiwi! She's at the top of the charts! And since Katie Jackson (PJ's daughter) suggested Ed Sheeran for DoS, what's not to say he won't go with her pick again??
