This is great stuff! I love all this art! THANK YOU for the links 
OMG!!!! IMO the Mountain King is just DECADENT - this is fantastic costuming - got the bulky physique of a dwarf (like Grandpa!) and at the same time, who knew some dwarf king could be drop-dead, pass the paper bag, gorgeous, beautiful, powerful, and magnificent all at the same time? I would never, ever, want to be a director trying to re-do the Hobbit. There will never be a dwarf as MAJESTIC and powerfully beautiful, ever.
Gotta have Bilbo!
This vision just paid for the movie, IMO

Lol I like how you can come up with piccies of Thorin and cats in such a short amount of time. This either means you are very skilled with google, or you have such a massive database of Thorin pictures on your pc that you can just browse through it and come up with Thorin + cats in a matter of seconds. Might I say that I think both options are very plausible?

Naw, I just throw a phrase into Google or Pinterest or Deviant Art and see what comes up. Some of it tho with this method can be *cough* questionable  . LOL, sometimes it seems Thorin is so busy "socializing" he'd be way too exhausted to worry about anything but getting some sleep.

and I particularily like that second last one (I had a cat that color once. Unfortunately, I had to give him up, since the place I was living didn't allow you to have cats. The place I live now does, and there are cats everywhere, even across the street, so I seemed to move into the cat neigborhood).
I've seen that picture of Thorin in armor with the fur coat (which I almost have finished, but mine's a different color, because trying to find the right color in the fabrics they suggest you use isn't always easy) before, on the Facebook page for Thorin Oakenshield.net that I "like", even though like is too weak a word when it comes to Thorin. Why can't Facebook have a "love" button? I guess because some people might confuse that with love handles, so perhaps that's why they don't have one.
Since the Annual is more of a kid's book, I never end up buying them, but I do look through them in the store, and in every quiz, I always end up getting Thorin (not necessarily a bad thing), whereas in other character quizzes, I usually end up getting Ori. I guess the character quizzes in the Annuals aren't as detailed as they are elsewhere.
P.S. And I don't mind if RA prefers dogs to cats, since even I had to dog sit once, and the boxer tried to hide behind me to avoid taking a bath. Unfortunately for the dog, it didn't work. You don't want everything in common with your favorites (whether it's the character or the actor), since that would just be too weird.
