Note that one of the sources for this story is The Onion, which is a parody site. I would wait to hear confirmation from Bret or Jemaine before celebrating. Crazy

Ah, well. Will we see Lindir at Thranduil's side in the Battle of Five Armies or will he be keeping the home fires burning and leaving chocolates on the pillows in Imladris? Will I get to see Jemaine live again next year at Armageddon or should I settle for a sort of live vampire on the silver screen (or perhaps in a dark alley in Wellington)?
