Hmmm.... [In reply to] Can't Post

Good points, Elarie...however, even if they did show Galadriel fighting, I imagine it would be pretty swift kills done very smoothly, maybe mixed with some magic along with that; I can just see her riding a horse chanting something and orcs just lose consciousness (falling asleep).

I actually wonder if she can (or Even Elrond can do) what Sauron did to a lesser degree in the movie wherein they impale several people with one blow. Gandalf did something similar but there were more magic involved, but with Sauron it seemed more like physical strength when he had the One Ring. Most likely not, but all of three (Elrond, Galdriel and Thandruil) should be able to dispose of Orcs and their creatures fairly swiftly.

I would just love to see more elf calvary and horses. Do you think Galadriel can ride bareback AND barefoot? WinkSmile

If this is to end in barrels, then we will all shampoo together.

While I wouldn't... [In reply to] Can't Post

... call them "ninjas," the Elves definitely appear to be sleeker and more stylish fighters than Men or Dwarves. Unfortunately, because the Elves are the twilight of their time in Middle-earth by the time the events in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings occur, we'll never truly see them in their prime on film, as we do the Men, Dwarves and Hobbits; we'll have to settle for what little we see of them in the LOTR prologue for that. Unsure
