Completely irrelevant topic, but i need a heads up. I just pre ordered the special extended edition of DOS, that comes with the barrel riding figure. It has all gone through, and says it will be shipped when its released, but no money was taken out of my account! Will it come out when the dvd is released? I dont know, its been over a day now, and no transaction has been made. This is my first amazon purchase, so any help is appreciated
I believe that Azog and Bolg are possibly the only two orcs who may be an exception to the typical evil nature of an orc. Azog had brought up his son, well enough that he actually acknowledges him as his own son. That is a first for any orc. And Bolg sets out to march upon Erebor in vengeance of his fathers death. How many orcs will Try and avenge another dead orc? Most will just forget about the dead one. This gives me hope that Orcs, have some traits of good in them, even if it is small aspects.

If I remember correctly, the money is not removed from your account until Amazon prepares to send out your shipment. So, I think it should be the week of the release that the transaction will occur. Don't quote me on that, of course. I haven't pre-ordered the EE myself; just going from my memory from years past.

I think they take your money when they ship it. Some online stores 'reserves' the money when you order then take it when they ship

They don't charge until it ships, and at least in the US, if the price changes before shipping, you'll get the lowest price it's listed at between now and then. You can cancel the order at any time before shipping as well.

If you preorder something, you won't get charged until the order ships. Wouldn't really be good business if they took your money now and something happened to the product and you weren't able to receive it, now would it? I preorder stuff off Amazon all the time, and preordered the Amazon exclusive extended edition set, so thought I'd just reassure you you don't have to order it again!

From my experience I believe it will not be taken until it ships.

Until then I think you are still able to cancel your order.

Amazon doesn't charge you until they ship the item, which makes it easier on both me and them if I decide to cancel something (I know from experience).

Amazon do not take your money until they ready the product you've ordered to actually ship.
