Messes aren't always bad. [In reply to] Can't Post

Today I made an ice cream sandwich, putting two scoops of cinnamon bun ice cream between two donuts. It was a mess. And it was delicious.

The Hobbit films at this point are a mess. But I enjoy them. Smaug is the best cgi dragon/wyvern on film. I agree with the OP's concerns about continuity with Legolas eyes, but that hardly negates the overwhelming emotional experience of watching LOTR.

If the final Hobbit can provide the same emotion at last, I'll forget any flaws the earlier installations might have had.

This is what happened in Harry Potter because Harry was supposed to have green eyes.

Indeed, The Dwarf stood a giant amongst the peoples of Middle-earth. [In reply to] Can't Post

If not literally, then morally, culturally, artistically, philosophically, spiritually, ecumenically, and grammatically.

cause I fell for the "money-making machine." I wish the Hobbit haters would just get over themselves.
