SCOD: The Fellowship Reunited Can't Post

Welcome to the next Screencap Of The Day.

Here are the images:

Full-sized images can be found here and here.

Feel free to answer any or all the questions.

1) For the first image, what do you think about the layout?
2) Thoughts on the music?
3) I particularly liked how Sam did not mind Frodo receiving all the attention. Would you have liked to have seen them praise Sam as well as Frodo?
4) Overall, do you like the way this scene was played out?
5) Any other thoughts/comments?

..The Lord of Silver Fountains
.....The King of Carven Stone
..The King Under the Mountain
.......Shall come into his own

..And the bells will ring in gladness
......At the Mountain King's return
..But all shall fail in sadness
....And the lake will shine and burn

I like reunions! [In reply to] Can't Post

1) For the first image, what do you think about the layout?
It really stood out as a composite to get the scale right.

2) Thoughts on the music?
I pretty much liked all the music in the LOTR movies.

3) I particularly liked how Sam did not mind Frodo receiving all the attention. Would you have liked to have seen them praise Sam as well as Frodo?
No, I think Sam would have been embarrassed by the praise. The attention belonged on Frodo -- he just helped.
*Now, my personal opinion is that Sam deserved most of the praise; he just wouldn't have appreciated it.*

4) Overall, do you like the way this scene was played out?
Yes, I did. I liked how Frodo was so happy to see that his companions had lived.

5) Any other thoughts/comments? I was amused to see that Merry and Pippen hadn't grown up much after all, even with all they had been through.

Reunion [In reply to] Can't Post

1) For the first image, what do you think about the layout?
I thought the shading and the muted sounds made it seem like a dream, a happy, happy dream. They did a great job of getting all the actors in the scene without scale doubles.

2) Thoughts on the music?
There's not one scene in the entire trilogy where I did not like the music :).

3) I particularly liked how Sam did not mind Frodo receiving all the attention. Would you have liked to have seen them praise Sam as well as Frodo?
Actually what I felt here, at seeing the look that passed between Sam and Frodo, was a foreshadowing of the sadness to come. That seeing Sam - aside from knowing that Sam also deserves the praise that Frodo is receiving - brings back to Frodo the memory of what happened in Mt. Doom.

4) Overall, do you like the way this scene was played out?
Yes it reminded me of Gandalf's line back in the beginning of FOTR about how Hobbits really were 'amazing creatures' Heart.

5) Any other thoughts/comments?
I love the design of this room!!!!!
