"Rubbish" might be a bit of a strong word, but I mean it will be Tauriel and Kili stuff. I know one of the additions is an alternative or extended meeting between the two. *yawn*
But, I'm sure one or two scenes, particularly the Thrain story and Bombur in the enchanted river will be welcome additions.

Its going to be the final section of the original second movie but more importantly its DOS Part 2. DOS was left with multiple unresolved plot line whereas AUJ had a completeness to it.
I expect the pace to be related to DOS but because its about resolution much more emotionally fulfilling and in that sense it will have the heart of AUJ.
There is so much to be resolved that it will not be until the EE that some of the textual moments will emerge but I expect to be emotionally caught in this film from the moment of the first frame until the last.
