that this lovely peaceful scene is a depiction of Primula and Drogo boating at an earlier, happier time, not the particular instance of their unfortunate last excursion   .
I love the detailing on Primula, her ruffled clothing and the tiny Hobbit sized guitar! And Drogo of course enjoying a pipe. They look the very proper Hobbit couple  .
