This isn't usually my kind of game, but I'm really interested to play it. I don't know how much this really fits into the world Tolkien built, but it will still be interesting.

Although I hate that it is set in Mordor and the story sounds too generic fantasy-like, I really do hope it will create more motivation in the gaming industry to produce AAA Middle-eart titles. I want that "White Council" game EA once started...
"I am afraid it is only too likely to be true what you say about the critics and the public. I am dreading the publication for it will be impossible not to mind what is said. I have exposed my heart to be shot at." J.R.R. Tolkien We all have our hearts and minds one way or another invested in these books and movies. So we all mind and should show the necessary respect.

I'm half-expecting an animated DTV movie.

Warner Bros. Entertainment has not produced any direct-to-video animated movies for previous Middle-earth video game releases. However, for some reason I almost expect a prequel movie for this game (just as Warner Bros. Animation has Batman: Assault on Arkham, a prequel to the Batman: Arkham games, being released in August). I am a little surprised that we never saw such a promotional project attempted for any of the previous games.

Hope it's as good as it looks.
"It is not our part to master all the tides of the world, but to do what is in us for the succour of those years wherein we are set, uprooting the evil in the fields that we know, so that those who live after may have clean earth to till. What weather they shall have is not ours to rule." Gandalf, "The Last Debate."
