If your life were an audio book, who would narrate it?

If your life were an audio book, who would narrate it? Can't Post

On the surface this is a fairly simple question, but ultimately a very difficult one as well, since you can *only* choose one person (alive or dead), or a list of people who you would consider to take on the job.
Personally I would find the choice difficult, since I can think of so many incredible entertainers and non-entertainers with equally incredible, powerful voices-however, if I had to choose one person to read out my life story, it would have to be the late Sir Michael Hordern-his voice was so incredibly distinctive and somewhat querulous, with a wonderfully English, homelike feel to it.

I'll narrate my own, just to keep things simple. [In reply to] Can't Post

I don't particularly like the sound of my own voice, but I do get compliments on my public speaking. Maybe I sound better when I'm not hearing myself in my own head.

My life is very much like some of her characters so I think she could do it justice. She sounds kind of like me too.

a pleasantly weird question... [In reply to] Can't Post

I think everyone's ideal life narrator would be Morgan Freeman....

But realistically, I would have Samuel Jackson. He would bring the necessary grit and attitude required for my story...

Isn't that what Bilbo, Frodo, and Sam all did? [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd at least like to put my own version out there. I think I have had some fun adventures that took me off the beaten path a bit. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to cause friction or embarrassment for other people involved ...I would also be interested in any other versions (well maybe not any ... ) that may be out there.

I would be pretty surprised if another version did appear somewhere. I have a compartmentalized life, much of it is undisclosed, and a huge chunk is fairly subconscious. I really don't think that anyone else knows my life enough to talk about more than one or two chaoters of it here and there relating to this or that bit - but not the whole thing.

If all the world's a stage then who's writing the script?

I've got a few options! :) [In reply to] Can't Post

Cate Blanchett - I loved the way she did the prolouge in FOTR!

Christopher Lee - he has a powerful voice and can deliver words perfectly. Of course, he'd probably be long gone when my life is being made a story; then again it's never going to BE a story, so...

Tom Hiddleston - another perfect British voice!! :)

Myself - after all, I was there! I know how it happened and how to describe it! WinkTongue

It is our fight!~ Tauriel

I fear neither death nor pain! ~Eowyn
