It was too perfect. But I have stood beneath the party tree on the Hobbiton set, and it is very, very real.

I thought I saw a production diary that said the party tree was fake...not CGI, but an artificial tree, like the tree of life at Disney Animal Kingdom. Are you saying it is a real tree or just that its not CGI?
