I always get a kick out of sil's stories of close encounters of the furry kind. Bears are not to be reckoned with lightly, and his experiences are good reminders of respecting the wilder side of nature! He gets my vote for "best use of a fly swatter"!

I think you can keep your tea parties going, since I dropped my Diamond Solitaires somewhere on their lawn last fall.

I've had a couple of bids, all of which could be beaten by the right kind of offer. I can throw in *free* double glazing and a geranium for whoever wins the bid. Just PM with your offer.

BlackFox! He bought the house for a small chest of gold and a talking purse! It was an offer I couldn't refuse. Congratulations! Please find your deeds to your new home below: . As promised, here is your free voucher: And a new plant for the window sill: (We may have forgotten to mention the rising damp ... do foxes like damp?)

Thank you very-very-very much! This can only mean one thing... a housewarming party! (And foxes *love* damp!)

Apologies. I very wise person once told me never to assume anything - if you're unsure, ask. Can I still hop round for dinner?

You're not the first one to make that mistake. And you *must* come on over for dinner as it was you who put a roof over this poor homeless fox's head in the first place!

I was ever so kindly invited by Mayor Ethel to contribute a poem for this month's issue and I had never even seen this paper before, but WOW! I spent most of my weekend reading it and past issues and I am now in the market. I would love to live here in Tolkienia and being next to gramma is ideal! It just so happens that I have a chest of treasure from my travels AND I just happened to acquire an inherited Oliphaunt 2 days ago, so the timing must be right! I can even sweeten the deal with the offer of a real Elvish sword. (Keep the withertos and the whyfors of how I got it to yourself)
