who is 75 has recently taken up tap dancing, and she's having a blast. It's never, ever too old to take up something for fun. Whether it will help in a career is something I don't know.
If your heart calls you do something or go somewhere

Whether it's travel, dance, jobs, instruments, writing, artwork... no matter what... listen to it and go for it! Otherwise you'll be left with a list of regrets. :) Trust me... *nods knowingly*
I've been a "go for it" person and I have never been upset that I tried and maybe didn't have it turn out the way I wanted; but I still feel worse about the things I wanted to do but haven't... yet. ;)

I took ballet from about 9 years old to 18. I loved it and was told I was good but because I'm short I could never become a professional. The whole experience has enriched my life in many ways. I was never good in sports but this was something I was good at and it made me feel good about myself. To this day I love to dance & enjoy taking Jazzercise classes. I also taught aerobics classes in my twenties and thirties which I really enjoyed.
Never too old...I returned to ballet

in my early 30's after many MANY years away. It had been so long that I was essentially a beginner again, and it was lovely.
Go for it. I'm an amateur actor, and the classes will be a benefit for you. One thing I find is that learning to quickly hear, process, pick up, and then execute a combination, as you do in dance class, is a very useful skill in auditions where dance is required.
