I hadn't realized his life had been quite so...turbulent. I know he'd been married more than once and had some daughters, but...

Not a great track record, marriage-wise - but we knew he was a Bad Boy.

"Where have you Bean all my life...?" // [In reply to] Can't Post

...and the sails were drawn up, and the wind blew,
and slowly the ship slipped away down the long grey firth;
and the light of the glass of Galadriel that Frodo bore
glimmered and was lost.

Ian it, though. / [In reply to] Can't Post

******************************************
The audacious proposal stirred his heart. And the stirring became a song, and it mingled with the songs of Gil-galad and Celebrian, and with those of Feanor and Fingon. The song-weaving created a larger song, and then another, until suddenly it was as if a long forgotten memory woke and for one breathtaking moment the Music of the Ainur revealed itself in all glory. He opened his lips to sing and share this song. Then he realized that the others would not understand. Not even Mithrandir given his current state of mind. So he smiled and simply said "A diversion.”

Old news... [In reply to] Can't Post

... well, 24 hours old, anyway... I saw this yesterday... but it hasn't been canceled, apparently... just postponed.

Whatever.

All I know is that the man needs to find himself someone who won't contribute to his bad habits, and that woman is just toxic for him... she may be nice and all, but two people with similar addictive behavior together in a relationship is just asking for trouble.

I want him to be happy, even if he were to choose *gasp*Celine*choke*... IF it contributed to his well-being... I just don't see that happening with this one.

But that's just MHO... who knows? Maybe they'll mellow together and turn out to be the best and longest duo in coupledom history...

Anybody wanna take any bets? Evil
