Interesting piece of info from Games Workshop Can't Post

The description for her model here seems to be more evidence of Tauriel helping the Dwarves (possibly in escaping Thranduil's dungeons) in DoS.

It mentions her being an 'unlikely ally' in the Dwarves' Quest.

So is this the last piece of evidence that proves she helps in the barrel escape or is there another point at which she could provide help for the Dwarves? It will obviously have to be against Thranduil's orders as he will be totally against the Company in the next film.

What do you think?

North Korea is isolationist, Switzerland is non-interventionist. Thrandy is more inline with the Swiss

If these figures are faithful to the movie... [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm glad to see that Tauriel isn't the only female in the Mirkwood forces.

Tauriel probably doesn't start helping the dwarves until after their escape on the River Running. [In reply to] Can't Post

When she witnesses the attack by Azog and his orcs.

Faithful or not [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd be happy to see some more female Elf warriors in the films.

The Silmarillion (film series)
The Flight of the Noldor - Beren and Lúthien - The Children of Húrin - The Necklace of the Dwarves - The Fall of Gondolin - The War of Wrath

Games Workshop is generally very reliable... [In reply to] Can't Post

...In terms of the miniatures they release purely from the movies. I don't believe they would make half the box set of Mirkwood Rangers female archers if they didn't have appearances (fairly prominent appearances if they have 5/10 in the box) in the movie. Just my opinion based on Games Workshop's past reliability in this sort of thing.
