What would you want to see made into a Weta environment? Can't Post

We are not Weta, however, but we do have a license to produce model scenic environmental collectables. What we really want to do is go down the neglected byways of middle earth, not matter how obscure. If you have a candidate for your favourite model subject we would really like to hear from you. It could be an architectural piece or a panoramic piece or a mixture of the two.
So far 'The Mathom House'. is the front runner!
You can see the style of our work here

Thank you for your time.

I'd like to see a port city, [In reply to] Can't Post

like Dol Amroth or the Grey Havens.

They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep.

Or Pelargir..... [In reply to] Can't Post

The great port of the Numenoreans/ Gondoreans. It's on a river delta and I've often wondered what it might look like

Is there a Tolkien topic that you have wanted to look into more deeply and write about your thoughts on it? If so, we'd like to hear from you for the next TORn Amateur Symposium- coming in November. Happy writing!

Not sure if these would work, but -
Treebeard's ent-house
The crossroads with the circle of trees where the king "got his crown again"
Old Man Willow by the Withywindle
Barrows on the Downs
A Beacon on one of the mountains
Dunharrow - the road up to it and the Pukel-men

Big Thanks [In reply to] Can't Post

I really appreciate the depth and diversity of the replies here. I have completed a sculpt of 'Erebor', which I will post on the web site in a day or two. Tom Bombadils is on the work bench at the mo, there is a surprising wealth of detail on it in the chapter 'In the house of Tom Bombadil'.
I am chewing on your ideas and thank you for them , and if we have a cluster of the same theme...away we go!
Please keep them coming, you never know we may be able to develop a definitive list here.
Bless You all for your contributions

Some more ideas at random [In reply to] Can't Post

If you're going with a series of Hobbit-hole environments (Hobbiton/Bag End, and entmaiden's Great Smials), then perhaps add Brandy Hall by the Brandywine.
Frodo's house at Crickhollow.
Bucklebury Ferry
Henneth Annun (with detachable waterfall so that one can see the detail inside the cave?)
If your Sackville-Bagginses are young ones, also old Lobelia (perhaps in black as she's a widow) brandishing her umbrella.
The three White Towers west of the Shire towards the Havens.
Tom Maggot's farm (complete with fierce dogs)
Minas Morgul (translucent rather than transparent, and with a light inside, so that it has that nasty decayed moonlight look described in the book - or would that be too tacky?)

Environ of Hobbiton! [In reply to] Can't Post

OMG! I'd love to see one of those! We have one of Rivendell and of Bag End, but the entire Hobbiton would be delicious!

Erebor [In reply to] Can't Post

Again thanks
To be honest how could you leave any of these out of a collection. I have the Latest sculpt 'Erebor', up for it's first view. If you could look closely at the pics of it and let me know what you think that would be great. www.themiddleearthcollection.com
Again I really do appreciate you taking the time out to comment, it really does help me get a direction on how to go!
