No, not at all. [In reply to] Can't Post

I am guessing if we are all to really focus on Sauron it will be in TABA when they battle him out of Dol Guldur. Wink

..The Lord of Silver Fountains
.....The King of Carven Stone
..The King Under the Mountain
.......Shall come into his own

..And the bells will ring in gladness
......At the Mountain King's return
..But all shall fail in sadness
....And the lake will shine and burn

But he's not a Vala.. [In reply to] Can't Post

I really hope he doesn't resemble Nocturne.

He is not a valar [In reply to] Can't Post

That's what i wrote? I wrote he being a lesser God (Maiar) and the Gods were the Valar...

And that picture is really good. Just like i imagined Sauron. Only thing missing is his yellow/orange eyes instead of those white eyes. And it's spot on how i have always imagined Sauron.

But i really wanna see that, i wanna see that scene where we see Sauron walking the steps INSIDE of Bara-Dûr and taking his seat upon his dark throne and summoning the eye, looking into the camera and then BAM! THE END.

-My thoughts on the best ending scene/post credit scene on TABA.

Hmm [In reply to] Can't Post

I think we just have two different concepts of what qualifies as a divinity. While the Valar demonstrate qualities similar to the Greco-Roman pantheon, they are also less powerful than Eru, who always stuck me as more of a God-like figure than the rest, being the only one who really knows what his plan for the world is. I always envisioned the Maiar as instruments of the Valar rather than being independently powerful in themselves (so a bit like a Greek demigod who has a patron deity making sure all his/her actions go according to plan). Then again, Aule probably didn't sanction any of Sauron's actions after he threw in his lot with Melkor, so the parallel can only extend so far. So a Maia is the battery to a Vala's power plant, if you follow me.

I guess I really just want to see Sauron appearing as a mangled ruin of his former beauty, less the stereotypical black shadow and more of a fallen angel, and 100% anthropomorphic, rather than sharing the mutations of his creations.
