It [In reply to] Can't Post

Looks like a hybrid of the AUJ SE soundtrack, and the LOTR EE's, the back image is the Acorn.

there are two stills from the film, one with the company looking at Erebor from the Carrock, and one of Gandalf looking down on Bag End.

The Bilbo rescuing Thorin was a pickup, and so was Bilbo hanging off the cliff.

The very first time we see Lobelia Sackvilled-Baggins is ... [In reply to] Can't Post

during the Market scene sequence. We actually see her twice:

1) It looks like she's turning up her nose at some bread. She must be the most brightly dressed Hobbit in all the Shire.
2) When Bilbo is talking to Mr.Worrywort, she can been seen walking from the bridge past him. We also see Otho (dressed in black) turn and glare at Bilbo. They already don't get along, it seems. There's also an apple-bobbing game behind them in this shot.

The Old Took's party - is that Katie Jackson dressed in pink-flowered dress, to the Old Took's left? And the fireworks. And is one of the fireworks supposed to be an owl?

Can't wait to see what others have picked up on. Smile

You don't waste any time, do you gramma? [In reply to] Can't Post

1. During the "Man in the Moon" sequence, the dwarf sitting next to Bilbo at the table behind where Bofur is standing I believe is supposed to be Fili -- only it doesn't look like Dean O' to me. Possibly Rob K?

2. On the periphery of Bofur's solo, you can see Thorin smiling, drinking from a flask and bouncing along to the song. Yes, he does even that with the restraint of great majesty!

This is going to be fun!!

Something nobody else has probably noticed [In reply to] Can't Post

there is music in the EE Appendice "The Epic of Scene 88 (?)" that is not in the CD track "Warg-scouts" or in the film!

Maybe will it be used in the next movies ? [In reply to] Can't Post

I noticed it too, and it was pretty epic indeed. Hope in some way, like compete recordings or in the next film soundtracks, we will be able to hear it properly

Edit : I just realized the next movies' soundtracks hadn't been recordings when they made the appendices, so it can't be it

Gandalf's mark [In reply to] Can't Post

Gandalf’s mark on the door of Bag End fades in Dwalin’s shadow as he approaches. A magical “sparkling” sound can also be heard. Is this ithildin-type magic?

I posted a few more observations/additions for the theatrical cut in an earlier thread (here), but it may have been overlooked?

I can't wait to read the updated list! Cool
