Gandalf the White Can't Post

I am very confused about something in The Hobbit. If you look very closely at Gandalf's staff, you can see his White staff hidden inside. This first became apparent to me when I saw a replica of the staff for sale, but then I watched the movie in HD and saw that it is definitely there.

I am so confused. Why would he have his White staff hidden within the Grey staff like that? It's completely pointless foreshadowing. Did anyone else notice this? Do you have any ideas as to why they would put this in?

The Supreme Wizard? [In reply to] Can't Post

It's probably nothing more than an aesthetic design by the costumiers.

Better, to them, than having a senior wizard with with a boring gray stick.

Interesting [In reply to] Can't Post

I have not noticed this. Please post pics.

But i really wanna see that, i wanna see that scene where we see Sauron walking the steps INSIDE of Bara-Dûr and taking his seat upon his dark throne and summoning the eye, looking into the camera and then BAM! THE END.

-My thoughts on the best ending scene/post credit scene on TABA.

Just buy the first Chronicles book and you'll have your answer ;-) [In reply to] Can't Post

Here is the best picture. [In reply to] Can't Post

I can't take any screen caps from the movie right now because I'm on campus, but it shows up a handful of times if you're paying attention to it.

Oh really? [In reply to] Can't Post

I never buy the books for the movies. I'll have to swing by B&N later today to see if they have it right now.
