Chances we'll see a HFR (48fps) trailer released online? Can't Post

The last few months there's been an increase in HFR media online, thanks to a new in-browser media player that supports higher frame rate content.

Mainly being limited to test shots and examples, the player wasn't really being utilized as anything other than an experiment. That is until the announcement of the PS4 and Xbox One.

Since then the player has been getting increasingly popular use to stream video game trailers at up to 60fps.

This gives me great hope that, not only will we see more HFR content online, but we could be seeing the next Hobbit trailer in HFR too!

They'll go with the masses [In reply to] Can't Post

and the masses preferred 24 frames I would say. Although, I loved 48 frames and 3D Wink

Really? [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd thought the other way round from my experiences in Germany ;)

A dragon is no idle fancy. Whatever may be his origins, in fact or invention, the dragon in legend is a potent creation of mens imagination, richer in significance than his barrow is in gold. J.R.R. Tolkien

Words of wisdom that should be remembered - both by critics, purists and anyone in between.

Agree. I think those that disliked it are more vocal about it. But it's not a majority // [In reply to] Can't Post

The masses... [In reply to] Can't Post

The masses didn't even have a chance to watch it in 48fps.
