Now you mention it, I really hope they do - and I think Dain would really be appropriate Smile

Yes, yes, yes! [In reply to] Can't Post

Every time I watch AUJ, I listen to Thorin at Azanulbizar, hoping to hear it. I never do, and it disappoints me. Du Bekar comes through loud and clear, though, and I like hearing it and recognizing it, but I really, really want to hear the 'official' battle cry.

Argh. *spoilers* I just had a thought. What if that ends up being one of the last things Thorin says on the battlefield and they're saving it to make the emotional punch to the gut that the book-fans will all feel all the worse? Frown

I need to stop thinking about the BOFA. *runs back off to denial land*

"I had forgotten that. It is hard to be sure of anything among so many marvels. The world is all grown strange. Elf and Dwarf in company walk in our daily fields; and folk speak with the Lady of the Wood and yet live; and the Sword comes back to war that was broken in the long ages ere the fathers of our fathers rode into the Mark! How shall a man judge what to do in such times?"

"As he ever has judged. Good and ill have not changed since yesteryear; nor are they one thing among Elves and Dwarves and another among Men. It is a man's part to discern them, as much in the Golden Wood as in his own house."

YES! Haha! [In reply to] Can't Post

It'll be Dain...just watch. He will bellow it at the top of his dirty dwarven lungs and all 500 other of his buddies will yell it back.

What about Bifur? [In reply to] Can't Post

After all he can only speak dwarfish? If all the dwarves are to get their time to shine at the Bo5A I can see Bifur using the phrase, but it could have greater impact if Dain yells it apon his arrival.

Yes, my username is terrible.

Actually [In reply to] Can't Post

They could use it as the humorous backstory to why dwarves DON'T like to be tossed. Although the indignity is pretty obvious.
