Potential Huge Spoilers (Read at your own risk!) Can't Post

Long time no see...

The German website www.herr-der-ringe-film.de has posted several potential spoilers for the upcoming film “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”. Apparently, these spoilers are included in the book “The Hobbit Annual 2014”. Cirdan, the website’s administrator has not read the book yet, thus he cannot confirm if these spoilers really appear in said book.

The translation of the spoilers:

• Beorn is the last shape-shifter in Middle-Earth. Most of his people have been killed by Azog.
• Before the dwarves and Bilbo arrive at the Anduin, they are attacked by Beorn (possibly in his bear-form). They dwarves flee to Beorn’s house. Beorn hates dwarves, but he helps them, when they reveal that they are hunted by Azog.
• Beorn confirms to Gandalf that something evil is happening in Dol Guldur. So Gandalf departs and investigates Dol Guldur.
• Woodelfking Thranduil has ordered his people not to leave Mirkwood and not to interact with other peoples.
• Thranduil thinks that Thorin and his company are on their way to the Lonely Mountain. He offers Thorin his help in leaving his realm in exchange for a share of the treasure. Thorin declines and the dwarves are thrown into the dungeons.
• Tauriel is at odds with Thranduil. She does not share his strict views, she is a lateral thinker und does not always follow his orders.
• Tauriel is the only elf that likes some of the dwarves.
• As the dwarves escape in the barrels, they are chased to the border of the forest by elves, not farther. Only Tauriel defies Thranduil’s orders and follows the dwarves to Lake-town. Legolas joins her because he is afraid she might get hurt or do something stupid.
• Bilbo is separated from the dwarves during the chase [which chase?]
• While hunting near Lake-town Bard the Bowman finds the dwarves in their barrels.
• Bard has three children: Balin [that does not make much sense, maybe a typo], Sigrid and Tilda.
• Gandalf sees things in Dol Guldur which are not really there or which appear different from how they really are. He uses magic to create an illusion that there are several of him [I guess doppelgangers] and he creates a protection spell.
• There’s evidence that Smaug searches for the Arkenstone

Edit: I guess this has already been posted. Apologies!

Ceterum censeo montem artis magicae atrae esse delendum.

Bard's kids [In reply to] Can't Post

Bet that oldest (Balin) is Bain, since we have seen him in the video blogs already!
Can't believe I read this - while I can't WAIT for the movie, I usually hate spoilers. Must have the fever bad!
