Did you know anything about the LOTR universe before your first role within it? Might you be working with SPJ on any future projects? How much of Jed is there in Nori? OK, it has to be asked: what did you think of that amazing Nori hair on the first trot-out? As always, thank you Kel for getting us together for these chats!
Is there a Tolkien topic that you have wanted to look into more deeply, and write about your thoughts on it? If so, we'd like to hear from you for the next TORn Amateur Symposium- coming in November. Happy writing!

I've got a couple (of course feel free to take any/none): Did any of you--the Dwarves--go through additional "dwarf boot camps" for pick-up shooting, or did most of you continue a workout regimen in some form? (You have a unique perspective, having worked on both of Peter Jackson's Middle-earth trilogies, as well many of his other films.) How would you describe Peter's growth and evolution as a filmmaker- from the early days before and during LOTR, and now having finished shooting The Hobbit? Favorite food to eat while on set? Thanks Kel (and Jed, of course!!). Looking forward to all of the responses.

I knew someone would have written a hair post by the time I finished typing mine. I'm glad I left it out in the end.

* You have worked with Peter Jackson on a few of his movies now, sometimes with a lot of prosthetics and at least once riding a raging beast (a warg in TTT). Have you ever been in a situation on set when you have wondered what on earth you had got yourself into? * Why do you like working with PJ and Fran? * Do you have an acting ambition that you haven't yet achieved?
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. to get Jed into this fun GTKY. Questions: I know Jed is a big fan of the books of Tolkien, what is his favourite part or quote? You are always one of the most loved people at various conventions (RingCon/HobbitCon and much more, but I have attended those two). Do you like going to conventions? What is best for you and what don't you like to do (so I know not to do those things anymore)? You have done a lot in your movie career. Is there anything you haven't done (yet) and would love to do. Or try something totally different?

What was your favourite part to film in An Unexpected Journey, and which scene took the most amount of takes? The unexpected party scene is often quoted as being the cast's favourite - it would be interesting to see if there are any other scenes that particularly stick out for Jed. If you could swap characters with anyone in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, who would you be, and why? What would be your top 3 desert island DVD's, and why? Thanks Kel.

What a delight to have him chatting with us! I'll add in a couple of sets of questions: How extensively have you travelled? Are there places you might recommend everyone visit - or stay away from? Any favorite travel anecdotes? I've gotten the impression that filming The Hobbit was quite grueling at times for the actors involved. Did you find that it required more physical preparation than other films/roles you've had? What was your favorite thing to do after a day of shooting, to relax? Thank you, Kel, you do never cease to amaze!

What were some of your first impressions, meeting the other actors? Working with so many people/stunt/scale doubles at the same time, does it get terribly confusing? What was the hardest thing you had to do while filming (AUJ)?

So many great questions have been suggested already. For what it's worth: You've played so many different beings in Middle Earth. Which was your favorite and why? Has anyone ever mentioned that you have pretty eyes? (Seriously, he does!) Thanks, Kel!
