Funny [In reply to] Can't Post

For most of these, I couldn't help but thinking "well, that's not really a problem in the book." But these movies are still pretty awesome.

Some of them are easy to explain if you know the book [In reply to] Can't Post

For example, Gandalf holding on and no one helping him. For a start Goblins are shooting at them, but secondly in the book the rest of the bridge falls into the abyss shortly after Gandalf is dragged down with the Balrog. Boromir held Frodo back to avoid the bridge cracking under the Hobbit's weight-a Hobbit may be light, but once he started to pull the Wizard back up the whole thing would have crumbled.

He saved it all throughout(playing both sides?), by saying how awesome they were.

I agree [In reply to] Can't Post

and I find the guy to be pretty funny and entertaining. On a side note, I tend to disagree with ALL professional movie critics with one exception: Leonard Maltin. For any one who might be interested, Leonard gave an awesome interview to Kevin Pollak here:

I'm chasing sound. Has anyone seen any?

Funny but... [In reply to] Can't Post

I liked the fifteen endings. Every time it looked like there was a "fade to black" moment and I got more movie I felt Peter Jackson was holding my hand and saying "it's okay, this movie will never end!".
