I wonder how she'd react to the Darth Vader reveal? // [In reply to] Can't Post

"...not till now have I understood the tale of your people and their fall.
As wicked fools I scorned them, but I pity them at last.
For if this is indeed, as the Eldar say, the gift of the One to Men,
it is bitter to receive." -Arwen Undómiel

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

Thanks, sador! [In reply to] Can't Post

I honestly wasn't expecting anyone to remember me here. I've been posting on a couple of other forums, but my volume of Internet posting is way down compared to what it used to be. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but my life is in a better place now anyway. :) I felt like coming back here and seeing what everyone was up to. I really appreciate the welcome back.

The first time I read the book [In reply to] Can't Post

I read the volumes out of order, because TT was checked out of the junior high library. It totally spoiled a whole lot of things.
