The Hobbit: AUJ Extended Edition to get 3D Blu-ray Steelbook (in the UK at least) Can't Post

I'm suspect other options will be available, but this will please steelbook fans.

I'm hoping for a gift set with a digipak or digibook, and some kind of WETA collectable.

Great! [In reply to] Can't Post

Perhaps they'll announce the details and release date at Comic Con.

They'll have to soon [In reply to] Can't Post

Even though Jackson won't be there, there's nothing to stop Warner unveiling a trailer for it and announcing details and a date. I've seen this week Warner putting out press releases for titles slated for early November, so something has to be announced soon.

That's great news – the steelbook case itself is very nice [In reply to] Can't Post

Sincerely hope the interior is of better quality and design than it was for the cinema edition (just plain disks with no illustration/badly fitted in case/no booklet or anything describing contents).

Cool [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm hoping for good bonus features and the Lego Bilbo to come to the UK.

Oh, and an amazing extended edition of course.

Cool... [In reply to] Can't Post

I'm with you on the gift set...but dare we hope for a boxed collector's edition with Weta statue even approaching the quality of the LotR ones? Unsure

Did you say Blue Steel? [In reply to] Can't Post

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

I hope they get rid of the stupid lion roar over Shore's music... [In reply to] Can't Post

Show some respect, put your lion before the film starts, not "in the middle" of the god damned movie.

Now that guy [In reply to] Can't Post

should have played Thorin. I believe that the actor should have been someone really, really, really ridiculously good looking, not that plain dude they chose.
