Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and I have crazy Hobbit fever. I have been a fan for over fifteen years and don't have a Fellowship of fans to geek out with. :) It would be great to meet some local fans especially with all of the east coast conventions coming up, i.e. BostonCon and the NY ComicCon. I'm not able to get to them, but there should be many others here who will, there's a few of us in the New England - New York - New Jersey area!
What area of the state do you live in? I'm down near the coast and casinos. I understand there's some movie coming out in December...

My plan is going to go up to the BostonCon on the second day. I haven't made plans for the NYCC yet. I live closer to the New Haven area. Haha, yes. Midnight showing of the movie is a must! I organized an event last year with some people from work. I can't wait!

I wish I could be there, but living in Colorado it's a fair jaunt to Boston!

Be sure to take plenty of notes - we'll want to hear all about it! 
(By the way...have you been to Boston before? The best way to get there, is to park at a train station and travel in that way - Boston roads are terrible to drive on!)
