Hobbit HFR 3D innovations recognized Can't Post

Congratulations, Park Road Post Production!

This is a celebration thread. My intention with posting this is to say, "Well done, people. Good on you!" It's a great thing to be recognized by one's peers for something that has never been done before.

This immense project has created a new technical and aesthetic standard. HFR-3D is now available to filmmakers and audiences worldwide, and is arguably one of the most significant developments in the last 80 years of cinema.

Let's hope they win! [In reply to] Can't Post

I haven't been able to watch 3D before but I found the HFR 3D breathtaking. they must have had to forge through so many technical problems to make it work so well.

Congratulations and good luck to them [In reply to] Can't Post

AUJ in HFR-3D was breathtaking and I look forward to seeing the sequels in that format.
