What if Middle earth was in our time or in the future? Can't Post

Like a "Middle-earth/Bladerunner" type of thing. That would be sick. Orcs and men could live together but Orcs are the "Low lifes" the criminals (Looks like modern day rappers) and Hobbits are normal down to Drugdealers(Old toby dealers ;) ) And men of Gondor are like people from America, all about the money and freedom while the men of Rohan are like most people from Europe and Scandinavia. Elves are the bilionaires and so forth. What if they had laserguns? Sci fi noir stuff here. I think it would be a great fan thing to do, like pictures at least.

What do you guys think? Maybe bad explained.. but i hope you get it :)

"Good morning!" he said at last. "We don't want any adventures here, thank you! You might try over The Hill or across The Water." By this he meant that the conversation was at an end.
"What a lot of things you do use Good morning for!" said Gandalf. "Now you mean that you want to get rid of me, and that it won't be good till I move off.

Great game.

I met a Balrog on the stair.
He had some wings that weren't there.
They weren't there again today.
I wish he would just fly away.

SyFy Channel [In reply to] Can't Post

I was just thinking the other day that SyFy Channel should do a take on Lord Of The Rings or The Hobbit like what they did with The Wizard Of Oz and Alice In Wonderland

It's done to Shakespeare all the time. [In reply to] Can't Post

I haven't seen Hamlet with a laser gun, but there's probably been a "Hamlet, Prince of Space" directed by somebody some time.

Imagine what these boards would sound like.

Indeed [In reply to] Can't Post

And holds a special place for me because was the first RPG I ever played.

Before kids, exercising with LOTR meant listening to the soundtrack while I ran.

After kids, exercising with LOTR means having an all out dance party with the little ones to the "Break the Dam Release the River" disco mix form the Lego game.
