And "dwindled" - a rustic folk of hill and dale - so sad to see the Elves cast from their nobility over the years, but then, "nobility" has I think a different connotation for Elves and for Men.

Tom (and Goldberry) are still around. If you listen, you can hear them in the wind in the trees, and the music of moving waters...and I know that there have been times I've been talking a walk through woods, and caught a glimpse of something bright out of the corner of my eye. He will not leave until the End. Smile
