"Use Well The Days" Can't Post

I was thinking about what the end credits song for There And Back Again would be like when I thought of the unused track for Return Of The King "Use Well The Days" I was wondering if maybe if had the potential to be the song I know it was written for Return Of The King and everything but they could dig it out and maybe rewrite some of the lyrics what do you guys think? I think the final song will be similar. here is a link to the song for those who haven't heard it.

beautiful song.... [In reply to] Can't Post

....but its tone doesn't fit in for the hobbit. I like the style of music but the lyricshave to focus more on coming home or friendship through all perils.eventhe theme of greed being the Bain of the world should be focuse. Is like the next two films to have a female singer in the stye if the lotr movies, being soft and beautiful. I liked auj song but it didn't suite middle earth. It seemed like it came from a Disney film

"fingolfin looked up in grief to see what evil morgoth had done to maedhros"

For you & I, there's a new land (Angels that fly)
Sanctuary, my sanctuary yeah
Where fears & lies melt away (Musical tide)
What's left of me, what's left of me now

Neil Finn [In reply to] Can't Post

Neil Finn is New Zealand's most famous and well-regarded musician (okay maybe my own opinion) and I even wondered aloud when the film's began production if they were ever going to get him to sing on one of the end credits song. Having Finn on the end credit track was a natural and brilliant choice.

"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair; and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."-J.R.R. Tolkien

"Thanks for the money!" -George Lucas
