I disagree... [In reply to] Can't Post

I do feel, even though the overall movie was not great, it was a really good adaptation; had the right amount of add-ons and adapted material. That said, those 20 min or so that are rumored to be added on for the extended version can propel the film to greatness (even rivalling Fellowship) provided that the additional material is character focussed. I am optimistic that the extended version will change many a naysayers mind on the overall film...and I am even more postive that once we have seen the extended version of the entire trilogy, this will be a worthy companion to the LOTR trilogy.
