Hobbit 3D Blu-ray - Subtitles - Ghosting Can't Post

The Hobbit is the first 3D movie I've watched on my blu-ray player and TV. The 3D video looks good, but the subtitles have a shadow or "ghosting" effect.

If I adjust my TV's 3D perspective to -3, the ghosting of the subtitles disappears, but the rest of the video seems "off", making it hard to focus on the action, and with slight artefacts. If I revert the perspective to +0, the video looks good again, but the subtitles are ghosted.

So here are my questions:

1) Has anyone else noticed this problem with the subtitles on the Hobbit?

2) Is this problem specific to the Hobbit, or would it appear for any 3D movie on this TV?

3) Are there ways to eliminate the ghosting of the subtitles without messing up the main video?

hi [In reply to] Can't Post

By your description I'm assuming you have an active 3D system, just like mine. Yes, ghosting is a very common "problem" in 3d active technology. It happens, yes, but is not that frequent to call it a big issue, at least not for me.

There is not a perfect 3D technology yet, The perfect 3D will be here when the need of glasses is eliminated. So in the meantime the current one will do it.

Yes, it's active 3D [In reply to] Can't Post

So is the best approach to simply leave subtitles disabled in 3D mode?

well... [In reply to] Can't Post

If you don't want any ghosting at all, or find it utterly distracting, yes. But be warned you'll find other elements with ghosting from time to time, some very subtle, some not so much. So getting rid of the subtitles wont fix the problem.

The issue comes from the incapability of the glasses of blocking 100% of an element of an image with certain qualities in contrast, brightness, and stereo-visual effect, for the eye is not destined for
