HFR Can't Post

what cinemas are showing hfr...hang on that was last year

any news of a digital hfr hobbit release, i know u would never get a bluray/dvd version becuase technology hasnt caught up yet but a digital version for computers must surely be possible???

and also any inklings of a hfr DOS cinema release yet, will it happen? if some post production is going on we must know for sure if this is gonna happen again?

A download of 48FPS at Blu-ray quality would still be pretty obnoxiously large. And compressing it down would sort of defeat the purpose of having a high end visual feature as HFR.

Yes, technically they could do it that way, but, I imagine they'll keep it in the theatres, the whole point was to present a feature that only the cinema can do.

I would also assume DOS will play in HFR, since the movie theatres had to invest in an upgrade to play it, they'll want to get their moneys worth.
