Nori [In reply to] Can't Post

I watched out for his lines after hearing the dwarves that have no lines list, and Nori actually has several lines.

In bag end, he says "hey who are you calling dim?" when Balin says not thirteen of the best nor brightest.

In the troll hoard, he is the one who asks "what's that stench?" I thought it might be Gloin, but it wasn't "scottish" accent enough. He also says "yo" or "yes" when Gloin asks him to get a shovel.

And he has the well known line "I think I saw him slip away when they first collared us" after Goblintown.

That's what I can remember at this point. So Bombur (unless you count the yelp he does when the table breaks) is the only dwarf to not have any lines in AUJ.

And I could be wrong but I did think I heard Bifur speaking (or more likely cursing! Wink) when they were killing the warg during the warg chase before Rivendell but not sure about that one!

Oh, I don't know... [In reply to] Can't Post

Depends on how annoying she is.

Seriously, though, I've thought for some time that she would die, or as I called it, "Pull a Haldir." I'm not sure she's going to be in it enough for the audience to be terribly invested in her character, the way they already are with Thorin/Fili/Kili.

I agree with the initial post, though: my non-reader friend who actually read TH after seeing the movie was floored, and has convinced herself that PJ will not kill off such paragons of adorableness (her phrase) as Fili/Kili. Thorin, I guess, is on his own.

Killing her off in the third movie when you already have three dwarves dying is not the best of ideas. The more deaths you add up, the more it becomes a collective sadness instead of sadness for the individuals.
