I really do love them all though.
I love how dark and sinister the opening of RotK is. And the prologue was the perfect way to start the epic story off in FotR. But my favorite is the fall of Gandalf and the Balrog in TTT. The break in the music, and then it's majestic return, as the ball of flame emerges in the distance from the chasm above the lake-- it's one of my favorite shots in any movie, ever.
