No, wait, that's not all! [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes, yes, cloudy Shire...New Zealand's like that...

But did anyone else notice *whispers* Thorin's hair? Or, heck, Kili's? Or what appear to be Nori's braided eyebrows? Seriously. How Do You Braid Eyebrows?

Not to mention... [In reply to] Can't Post

... Fili's braided mustache!

But yes, seriously, how do you even grow eyebrows long enough to braid them?

Also, Thorin's hair is amazing! Tongue

Actually.... [In reply to] Can't Post

I sometimes think The Shire is too sunny!

Sure, everyones image of the Shire is sunny, but i keep thinking of some of Alan Lee and John Howe's paintings and the fact that the Shire is based on the English countryside, which has alot of rain, and think i'd love to see a wind-swept, rainy Hobbiton and imagine all the hobbits sheltering indoors with their lights and fires on, telling tales by a roaring fire as the rain hammers on the windows.

'I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.'
'So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.'

I like to think he does the opposite, braids his hair into his eyebrows. Tongue

Now *that's* something I hadn't considered... [In reply to] Can't Post

but even so, he'd still have to have some long eyebrows to pull it off.

You know, we haven't seen it yet, but behind those braids on his forehead would be a great place to tuck something like a pencil. Sort of like tucking a pencil behind your ear, but not quite. Not that dwarves use pencils. A small knife, maybe?

Ori uses pencils.... [In reply to] Can't Post

It's in the artbook. He has a sketchbook and drawing kit among his things; Adam Brown did his own sketches in the book and according to the prop master he was pretty good. It's a shame we never get to see all these lovely things they design, except in the artbooks.

Of course, he doesn't braid his eyebrows, so that doesn't help!

Ah, good point! [In reply to] Can't Post

Forgot about that. Maybe Nori sometimes serves as Ori's walking pencil case.
