Thanks for the insights! I have been looking at/collecting a lot of fanart online and there is awesome stuff out there (I trip over a lot on Pinterest, tumblr and Deviantart). I actually draw animals better, and some of the other art I see is so good I kind of whimper and slink back into my cave...

but, hey, I keep telling my younger artsy friends, keep doodlin'... you never know where it may go...
