Dragon sickness [In reply to] Can't Post

I know what you mean Bomby. While I like the books, ever since I fell more and more in love with Tolkien's works, I see a lot of similarities in Rowling's work, to the point I will say that she ripped off Tolkien. Now that I know more about Middle-Earth, I can see a lot of Tolkien's stuff in Rowling's work. I've never approved of ripping off others. Inspiration and influence is one thing, but taking someone else's work and molding it into your own, that is unacceptable. Anyway, I didn't mean to get off topic, I just found it interesting that somebody else has noticed too.

To compensate, more on the spiders. Just thinking about them sends a shiver down my spine. In AUJ, when the spiders appeared at Radagast's house, I sat stiff in my chair making a 'ssss' sound through my teeth cause they creeped me out so much. Come to think of it, I can't wait til Bilbo cuts them up. Yuk!

PJ has already filmed that scene ... (and it's on youtube) [In reply to] Can't Post

Okay so it's not entirely all spiders but the scene IS called the Spider Pit sequence from King Kong.

Anyway, this is how I imagine it might be portrayed - similar in atmosphere, lighting and squishy moves
