You won't be then :-) [In reply to] Can't Post

I wouldn't be surprised if a couple goth gals even go end for that brawny beast Azog Shocked.

Dwalin [In reply to] Can't Post

I bet we'll be seeing people copying those unusual plate mail gauntlets. You'd think after all those cuts and scars, he'd get with using vambraces :-). But maybe the fact that he doesn't is supposed to say something about his personality. Regarding Bofur's hat (my friend called it The Flying Nun hat :-)) is Radagast wearing the same type? It looked similar to me.

Bofur seems to be channeling a Yukon gold miner, what with the ushanka style hat and the furry boots and the mattock. Maybe that's why I like him. That basic hat style (trooper hat, trapper hat) has been used in various cultures across the planet where freezing your ears off was a danger.

Bofur's appears to be sheepskin (oooooooooooo, I have a spare sheepskin that's doing, like nothing....). Radagast's appears to be something like woven wool.

Bofur's earflaps have that flying nun look, Radagast's stick up like pointy little ears (cool, for a wizard whose job is to care for the kelvar and olvar of Middle Earth).

Bofur's earflaps (being without velcro, like the ones in our Tractor Supply store) stick out when he flips the back up... looks like a good design, flip it up when it's warmer, pull it all down when it's colder. Up: shade, rainproof roof... Down: no frostbite.

Designwise, Bof's hat flaps repeat that sweeping outward curve thing that his hair and mustache do... a sense of "this is a fun guy"...

Dwalin, yeah, they should have named his pony Harley.

Go outside and play...
