Documentary on Digital vs Film Can't Post

This screened on TV in Australia last night and for anyone interested in HFR and the digital revolution going on in film making it is well worth a look. The Hobbit even got a mention it is that recent.

Widely opposing views on the film vs digital debate in all its aspects including archiving for the future.

According to this George Lucas actually copped the PJ type treatment when he went digital on one of the Star Wars sequels.

I've seen it [In reply to] Can't Post

it's an interesting film, but I hoped some of the directors would talk a little longer.

It is fairly new [In reply to] Can't Post

so it may yet turn up on tv in your neck of the woods.

I can't help with anything definite, all I can suggest is that you keep an eye out for it, especially on the documentary channels I suppose.
